Erev Shabbat Group

This group meets from 6:30 - 9:00 Friday evenings for fellowship, worship, and prayer. Included is a kosher potluck (called an Oneg in Hebrew) meal time during which everyone has an opportunity to get caught up with each other’s lives.

At sundown on Friday the Sabbath officially begins. This is the time when we celebrate Liturgy and the Lord’s Supper together. Since sundown times vary by season, this element may happen either before or after the meal.

Following the meal is a time of worship and prayer. This is the heart of the our time together and we usually spend at least an hour worshiping and praying together. It is a time when deep interaction and healing can occur as Yeshua reaches to deep issues of the heart.

The Erev Shabbat Group is a good way for a visitor to become acquainted with the Lighthouse. The group meets in member’s homes on a rotating basis. If interested in attending, please email Steve and he will give you more information.
